Privacy Policy

Beautiful Game Film, LLC and its affiliates, licensors and partners, including but not limited to the A10 Africa Foundation (collectively, “A10” “we” and “us”) care about your privacy. To better protect your privacy, this notice explains A10’s policies for the collection and use of personally identifiable information provided to The Beautiful Game on the A10 website at http://www.beautifulgamefilm.com/, and any additional websites of A10 (collectively, the “Sites”).

A10 will never sell your personal information to anyone. We will never send you unsolicited emails. You will only receive correspondence from A10 if you “opt-in” to receive our newsletters, updates and other information or if we need to contact you to complete a purchase transaction or donation. However, please note that sites which are linked to the Sites may have different policies - please review the privacy policy notices on those sites for details.

WHEN WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION

The Sites collect information from you when you register with us as part of your participation in our online community or online store or when you donate to the A10 Africa Foundation (the “Foundation”). As part of your registration, we may request the following personal information: name, address, email address, telephone number, birth date, and demographic information (such as country and gender). If you choose to buy any of A10’s products or make a donation to the Foundation, we will collect the following additional personal information in order to process your transaction: credit card number and billing address. By making a purchase or donation on one of the Sites, you consent to us providing your personal information to a third party service provider to process your transaction(s).

COMMUNICATIONS FROM US

Our registered users, customers and other users of the Sites may “opt-in” to receive newsletters, information and updates or other email communications from us.  Recipients of our communications can unsubscribe by following instructions that appear at the end of the email communication.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

As described above, we use your personal information to communicate with you if you have “opted-in” to receive such communications, and to contact the customer about his/her purchases, transactions or donations. From time to time, we may also use your information to offer our products, programs, or services to you. On each email a customer receives, there is an opportunity to unsubscribe. If you request to be unsubscribed, your email address will be permanently removed from that mailing list. When we have co-branded or sponsored services or when we join with other parties to provide specific services, we may share your personal information with the other parties.

We may share aggregate information (such as demographic data or geographic location of users), which is not personally identifiable, with others and in order to improve our services for marketing or industry reporting purposes. Such information will not include personal information such as your name or email address.  Additionally, aggregate information collected about our audience may be used to improve our services, for marketing purposes, or for industry reporting purposes.

Other than as set forth in this privacy policy, we do not share your personally identifiable information with other companies, apart from those acting as our agents in providing our service to you, and which agree to use it only for that purpose and to keep the information secure and confidential. We will also disclose information we maintain (i) when required to do so by law (for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena or other legal obligation), (ii) in response to a law enforcement agency’s request, or (iii) in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with our rights or property.

AUTOMATIC DATA COLLECTION

When you visit one of the Sites, some information is also automatically collected through the use of log files, such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, your computer’s operating system, the browser type, the address of a referring website and your activity on the Sites. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the Sites, improve customer service, track user movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. We may also automatically collect certain information through “cookies,” which are small data files that are stored on a user’s hard drive at the request of a website to enable the site to recognize users who have previously visited them and retain certain information such as customer preferences and history. If cookies are linked to any personally identifying information, we treat this information as personal information. If you wish to block, erase, or be warned of cookies, please refer to your browser instructions or help screen to learn about these functions.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN

We strive to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without the appropriate parental notice and consent. If you are under 13 years of age, you should not provide any personally identifiable information on the Sites without the knowledge and permission of your parent or guardian.

LINKS

We may provide links to non-A10 websites. We are not responsible for those other websites, their privacy policies or how they treat information about their users, and we advise you to check their privacy policies.

SECURITY

Security for all personally identifiable information is extremely important to us. We store your personal information securely, and use a variety of physical, electronic, and managerial security technologies and procedures designed to safeguard the information we collect from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration or destruction. When we collect credit card information, we use a secure server with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption software that makes unauthorized access difficult. We store the personal information provided to us on computer systems with limited access, which are located in controlled facilities.
